A St Petersburg Florida poster that looks north along the Tampa Bay waterfront on the Gulf coast of Florida, not the Russian city of the same name. A pink Mediterranean Revival hotel rises above the trees with its bell tower and tiled roofline, a row of tall cabbage palms leans over a green lawn, and a pale concrete seawall steps down into deep blue water while the downtown skyline sits small on the far shore.
About the artwork
Flat vector illustration with hard-edged shapes, printed texture in the sky and short horizontal strokes for the chop on the bay. The palette runs coral and salmon pink on the hotel walls, terracotta on the roofs, sun-bleached cream on the seawall, two greens for lawn and palm fronds, and a graded blue sky that turns pale at the horizon before the water goes deep teal. Details to look for: the arcaded upper floors, the small cupola and finial on the tower, the balustrade along the promenade, and the shadow the wall throws onto the water. Typography is clean white sans-serif reading ST. PETERSBURG over FLORIDA, set across the sky in the upper left. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A specific stretch of shoreline — the bayfront promenade and seawall, not a generic beach scene.
- Pink against blue — the coral hotel is the only warm mass in the frame, so it reads from across a room.
- Unmistakably Florida — palms, Gulf-coast light and a subtropical skyline settle any confusion with the city in Russia.
- Depth without clutter — foreground lawn, mid-ground hotel, distant towers, all in flat colour.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The coral and teal pairing does its best work on a warm neutral wall — cream, sand or the terracotta room in the photographs above, where the pink picks up the wall colour. On white walls a black frame sharpens the seawall edges; a light oak frame leans into the palm greens instead. It suits a bedroom or a sunroom, and it hangs well beside other coastal prints because the blue half of the image carries the eye across.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or nightstand, 18" x 24" holds the wall without crowding it. Over a sofa or bed, go to 24" x 36" or larger so the distant skyline stays legible.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame, wired and ready to hang.
Is this St Petersburg, Russia? No. This is St. Petersburg, Florida, on Tampa Bay. The print reads ST. PETERSBURG over FLORIDA.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
