This Grenada watercolor print shows the Carenage of St. George's, its harbor ringed by pastel houses with red roofs, seen from the walls of Fort George. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the St. George's harbor, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Dense fine ink draws the red-orange roofs and pastel walls stacked up the hills. The harbor is blue with streaks of white paper, the fort walls are layered gray-brown, and the left edge and bottom melt into pink and blue, with a long red-orange drip at the lower left. Harbor turquoise and terracotta roofs lead, with green hills and accents of magenta bougainvillea and yellow and pink houses. The curved harbor with fishing boats, yachts and waterfront warehouses fills the middle, houses climb the slope on the right, and the square stone tower of St. George's Anglican Church stands on the left. Forested mountains fade behind in soft haze on a sunny dry-season day. "GRENADA" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Cannon on the ramparts. A black cannon and a round stone watchtower guard the foreground.
- Stacked red roofs. Pastel houses with red roofs climb the hills in layers.
- Harbor water taxi. A water taxi crosses past blue fishing boats along the quay.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".

- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Terracotta and turquoise bring warmth to a dining room, an entryway or a living room with warm wood. A heartfelt gift for someone from Grenada or a sailor who anchored off St. George's.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Grenada? No. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of St. George's. The shape of the harbor is simplified, and some buildings are rearranged.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "GRENADA," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
