This Snoqualmie Falls watercolor print shows the broad white waterfall pouring down a dark rock cliff in Washington, with Salish Lodge standing on the clifftop to the left. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Snoqualmie Falls, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Grey-brown ink outlines the dark cliffs, the railing and the stone wall of the viewing deck. The wide falls and the rising cloud of spray are left as soft white paper, and evergreen forest and ferns are washed in green and gold. The waterfall sits center-right, seen from the observation deck across the gorge, with the multi-story lodge set back on the cliff to the left. Douglas fir, cedar and maple line both sides, snow-capped mountains rise behind, and a low stone wall with ferns anchors the left foreground. Early-spring meltwater keeps the falls full, and the left edge drips into green, gold and grey streaks. "SNOQUALMIE FALLS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Rising spray. A white cloud of mist lifts from the base of the falls and drifts up the gorge.
- Family at the rail. A family stands at the deck railing, one of them pointing toward the falls.
- Evergreen and mist. Deep evergreens, slate rock and white spray are warmed by the lodge's brown tones and a blue ribbon of river.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its greens and greys look good in a Pacific Northwest-style living room, a bathroom or a bedroom with linen and wood. It is a sweet gift for a couple who celebrated at Salish Lodge or a family from the Seattle area.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Snoqualmie Falls? No. This is an artistic interpretation of Snoqualmie Falls; the lodge, the buildings above the falls and the mountains behind are placed freely, so some details differ from the real view.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "SNOQUALMIE FALLS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
