A Sitges travel poster looking down the beach: rows of parasols on gold sand, turquoise shallows breaking into white, and the whitewashed old town on its rocky point with the church towers standing over the water.
About the artwork
A high viewpoint and a long curve — the shoreline sweeps in from the bottom left and carries you past the town to the palm-lined promenade in the distance. The sand is warm ochre, worked over with hundreds of small marks: parasols in teal, red, yellow and cream, sunbeds in tidy rows, bathers as single strokes at the waterline. The sea does the opposite, moving from pale turquoise over the sandbar through mid-blue to deep navy at the top, with a band of foam curling the length of the beach. The town is built from cubes of white and cream under terracotta roofs, with arcaded windows and balconies, and on the headland the church shows a tall bell tower with a clock face and a lower domed tower, set on rocks with the sea breaking below. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Spain beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Parasols by the hundred. The scattered colour across the sand is what makes it feel like a real day.
- The church on the rock. Two towers on a headland, the shape that fixes this as Sitges and nowhere else.
- Gold and deep blue. Warm sand against cold water, held apart by a line of surf.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Sunny and busy, so it earns its place in a room that wants energy — a kitchen, a bright hallway, a child's room, a holiday flat. Warm white, sand and pale terracotta walls suit it, and it sits well with rattan, linen and light wood. Natural oak frames follow the sand; a white frame keeps everything airy. It goes with the other Mediterranean coast designs in the shop, and makes a good pair with a second Catalan view.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where is the view from? From above one end of the beach, looking along the sand towards the old town, the church headland and the promenade beyond.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
