About the artwork
The cobbles are half the picture and they are drawn stone by stone — hundreds of pale rounded setts in sand, bone and grey, each with its own small shadow, sweeping up and to the left in a wide curve that puts you on foot at the bottom of the hill. Dry summer grass in gold and olive runs along both edges. The buildings above are compact and busy: mustard, salmon, pale green and cream walls, terracotta pantiles, dormers, and a tower with a green and rust patterned roof, a clock face and a needle spire with a weathervane. To the right the ground drops away and the valley opens out in soft blue-greens with more red roofs scattered below and wooded hills beyond, and a bank of white cumulus stacked in the sky. What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What is the tower? The citadel clock tower at the top of the old town, seen from the cobbled lane that climbs to it.

Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
