About the artwork
The colour is soft all the way through — dusty pink, cream, pale ochre, powder blue, with coral-red roofs holding it together — and the drawing gets its energy from low afternoon light raking across everything from the right. The tower is the tallest thing: a square cream shaft with two dark blue clock faces, arched belfry niches above them, then a terracotta bulb dome, a small open lantern, a second smaller bulb, and a gold ball with a cross on top. Beside it a wide yellow baroque block runs along the square, its red-tiled roof punctuated by the little arched dormer vents the town is known for. To the left a cream and pink palace carries a scrolled pediment with finials and an oval window, and beyond it the terrace of houses steps away in pink, ochre and pale grey. Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What are the small windows in the roofs? They are the narrow arched dormer vents set low in the tiles, which give the roofs their watchful look.

Paper prints ship rolled in a rigid tube. Canvas and framed canvas are boxed with corner guards.
Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
