A Seven Sisters Cliffs poster taken from the grass at the top of the first headland: a run of white chalk faces stepping away one behind another, bright green turf rolling down on the right, and a turquoise sea working along the foot of it all.
About the artwork
The whole design turns on the contrast between three flat colours — chalk white, downland green and sea turquoise — held apart by a very simple structure. The nearest cliff is cut off by the right edge and shown from above, so you look down its shadowed face and see the thin ledge and rubble at its base; beyond it the headlands repeat in a rhythm, each one a little paler and cooler than the last until the furthest is barely more than a white sliver. The turf is drawn in broad bands of yellow-green and deep shadow with wind-combed grass along the bottom edge, individual blades catching the light. The sea carries a wide sheet of sun glitter on the left and repeated white lines of surf that follow the curve of the shore. The sky is one unbroken blue. Seven Sisters in wide-tracked uppercase with England beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Three colours, no clutter. White, green and turquoise carry the whole sheet.
- The cliffs step back in rhythm. Each headland paler than the one in front of it.
- Grass drawn blade by blade. The bottom edge is where the detail hides.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Bright and clean, so it lifts a room that leans neutral. It looks best on white, chalk or pale sand walls with plenty of daylight, next to linen, driftwood and painted furniture — a bathroom, a bedroom or a summer-house feel anywhere. A white frame keeps it crisp; light oak warms the green. It hangs happily beside the store's other English coast prints as part of a seaside wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Can you count all seven cliffs? Not quite — the design shows the near headland large and roughly four more stepping into the haze, which is how the run reads from the clifftop.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
