A Dolomites travel poster of the Seceda ridge: the famous tilted meadow running up in one long green plane to a wall of grey limestone spires, with cumulus piling behind the summits and the valley opening away to the right.
About the artwork
The whole image turns on one diagonal. The meadow rises from the bottom right to the ridge at the top left in an unbroken sweep, and every other element — rock strata, cloud, the far valley — is angled to reinforce it. Colour is split cleanly: acid green and olive on the grass, cool grey-blue and pale bone on the rock, which is drawn in hard vertical facets to catch the light down each spire. Small stones and alpine flowers are picked out along the bottom edge, giving a foothold of foreground detail before the eye is thrown up the slope. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Italy beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The most dynamic composition here. One diagonal, held all the way — it gives a static wall real movement.
- Green mountain, not blue. The meadow keeps it warm and alive where most alpine prints go cold.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The green is fresh rather than muted, so it lifts a neutral room without adding warmth. White, bone and pale grey walls all work; it also sits well against natural stone or concrete. Good above a desk or in a stairwell where the upward diagonal has room to lead the eye. Pair it with black metal and pale wood rather than brass and dark timber.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa or bed, 24" x 36" or larger.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Where exactly is this? Seceda, above Ortisei in South Tyrol — the ridge where the grass meadow meets the Odle spires.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
