About the artwork
An illustrative, densely worked painting: the sandstone is drawn bed by bed with visible crossbedding lines and blocky fracture faces, and the desert floor is filled with individually placed shrubs. The palette sets brick and rust red and a chalky cream against a strong gradient blue sky, cream cumulus and the sage-green of blackbrush and juniper. What size should I get? At 16" x 24" the cliff bands and the distant range both read. Over a sofa or a bed, 24" x 36" upward gives the foreground yucca room to breathe.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
Is this the same place as Valley of Fire? No. Red Rock Canyon is a national conservation area on the west side of the Las Vegas valley, with its own scenic loop drive. Valley of Fire is a state park about an hour to the north-east, and it has a separate print in this series.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.
