A red Mount Fuji print for a living room with a bit of nerve. The mountain itself is red under a snowy peak, teal hills and a small town with a shrine fill the middle ground, and navy waves with white foam rush across the front. An orange sun and red JAPAN lettering finish it on a beige ground.
About the artwork
Red, teal and navy sit on a warm beige ground. Painting the mountain red turns it into the loudest shape on the sheet, with only the snowcap left pale. Teal hills and a small town with a shrine sit in the middle, and navy waves topped with white foam run along the front, drawn with a woodblock-style curl. An orange sun adds a second warm note. The lettering reads JAPAN in red. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- A red mountain. Coloring Fuji red makes the peak the boldest shape on the wall.
- Waves up front. Navy water with white foam gives the bottom of the sheet energy and weight.
- Small details in the middle. A little town and a shrine tucked among teal hills reward a closer look.
- Warm ground, strong type. The beige background softens the reds, and JAPAN in red gives it a clear travel-poster voice.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Red and navy together need a calm backdrop: warm white, oatmeal or pale gray walls in a living room with light oak or rattan furniture. A navy or rust sofa below it pulls the colors into the room. At 24" x 36" it holds a wall on its own; 18" x 24" suits a picture ledge above a console. A black solid wood floating frame sharpens the navy. Pair it with a simple blue-and-white striped rug.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Why is Mount Fuji red here? The design colors the mountain red as its main accent and leaves only the snowy peak pale, so it stands out against the beige ground and navy waves.
Which room is it meant for? It is made for a living room, over a sofa or console. The red and navy read well from across a larger room.
Can I get it framed? Yes. It comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural; black picks up the navy waves.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
