This ravioli pasta plate indigo border poster shows a simple bistro-style plate of ravioli, hand drawn in two colors of brush line on a flat cream ground.
About the artwork
The oval plate is seen from above and fills the top half, outlined in blue with no fill. On it, seven ravioli with wavy edges are stacked in a loose cluster, drawn in mustard yellow lines. Below, two centered lines of red lettering pair a bold display serif with a thin sans-serif, and a thick indigo border wraps the whole poster.
Why you'll love it
- Seven little parcels. The ravioli overlap in one cluster, each with a crimped, wavy edge.
- Two-color line work. Blue for the plate and mustard yellow for the pasta keep the drawing light and airy.
- A strong frame of color. The deep indigo border gives the cream center a bold, finished edge.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a pasta drawer, a dining bench or an open shelf of bowls, where the indigo border ties in with blue ceramics and the red title adds warmth. It looks great on white or cream walls and pairs well with other Italian food prints. It also suits a trattoria or a small café.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Ravioli / Pasta
How many ravioli are on the plate? Seven, stacked together in one cluster in the middle of the oval plate.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
