An educational nursery wall art print showing one long-eared brown dog in nine different moods, each labelled in red capitals on a 3 x 3 grid.
About the artwork
Nine faces of the same brown, long-eared dog are arranged in three rows of three, each with a label in red capital letters underneath: "HAPPY", "CALM", "TIRED", "CONFUSED", "EXCITED", "SAD", "ANGRY", "SCARED" and "EMBARRASSED". The illustration is hand-drawn digitally with a light, grainy texture. Everything sits on a cream background inside a border of red and pale blue stripes.
Why you'll love it
- Names big feelings. Nine labelled faces help little ones put words to how they feel.
- One friendly face. The same dog in every mood makes the chart easy to follow.
- Bright but warm. Red, pale blue and cream feel cheerful without being busy.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it low in a playroom or calm-down corner, at a height where a child can point to each face. The red and blue stripes look crisp in a white frame and suit primary-colour rooms. Next to the cat feelings chart, it builds a small emotions wall for talking through the day.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Which feelings are on the chart? Happy, calm, tired, confused, excited, sad, angry, scared and embarrassed.
Is the striped border part of the print? Yes, the red and pale blue stripes are printed as part of the design.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
