A preikestolen travel poster from the clifftop path: the flat square ledge of Pulpit Rock jutting out over the drop, a deep blue fjord running away between granite walls, and low sun raking across the golden rock in the foreground.
About the artwork
Everything here is cut into hard planes — no soft gradients anywhere. The foreground rock is drawn as a mosaic of angular slabs in gold, amber and pale sand, split by dark fissures, with dark green scrub clinging in the cracks. The ledge itself is the single dramatic form: a clean-edged block of stone in sunlit gold on top and deep blue-violet shadow on its face, with nothing beneath it but air. The fjord is worked in bands of cobalt, teal and steel, and the far wall of the canyon rises in cool grey-blue with the light picking out its ribs. The palette is almost entirely two colours — hot gold and cold blue — pushed as far apart as they go. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Norway beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The ledge. A shape you recognise instantly, and it carries the whole composition.
- Gold against blue. The hardest colour contrast in the range, and it makes the print read from a distance.
- Faceted rock. Angular, graphic drawing rather than soft realism.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A strong, masculine-leaning landscape print — good above a desk, in a home gym or in a hallway where you want something with drive. It looks best on white, charcoal or deep blue-grey walls and beside leather, iron and dark wood. Black frames match its graphic edge; natural oak softens it. Hang it with the Trolltunga, Lofoten and Geirangerfjord prints for a Norway wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What is the flat rock? Preikestolen, known in English as Pulpit Rock — a level stone shelf standing high above the fjord below.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
