A Pinnacles National Park vintage travel poster, printed full bleed: a California condor gliding over red volcanic rock spires, with oaks, chaparral and spiky plants in the valley below and cream clouds in a deep teal sky. White lettering reads ESTABLISHED JANUARY 10, 2013 across the top and PINNACLES NATIONAL PARK at the foot, around the National Park Service bison seal.
About the artwork
The red spires rise at left-center, the condor soars in the upper right, and a sandy chaparral valley with oaks leads the eye into the hills. The bird is drawn big enough to read from across a room. The spires are the eroded remains of a volcano that has traveled about 200 miles along the San Andreas Fault.
Why you'll love it
- Wild California. Rust red and teal suit California homes, offices and birders’ studies.
- Lines up in a grid. Every poster in this series shares the same full-bleed layout and white lettering, so several parks hang cleanly side by side.
- Standard poster proportions. The 2:3 sizes drop straight into ready-made frames, from 8" x 12" to 24" x 36".
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 24" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 18" to 24" x 36".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Rust, olive and teal make an easy scheme with oak furniture and woven textiles. Natural or espresso framing suits it.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 16" x 24" and up if it hangs alone; 12" x 18" works inside a gallery wall of several parks.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Pinnacles prints? This is the full-bleed vintage travel poster: a California condor over red rock spires. The WPA poster, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Pinnacles prints in the shop are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
