A Pensacola, Florida travel poster looking down a shaded historic street toward the bay. Two-storey buildings in mint green, apricot and cream line the right side, each hung with a deep black cast-iron lace balcony on slim iron posts. A live oak leans in from the left, the pavement is scattered with dappled shade, and a single white sailboat sits on the blue water at the end of the street.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with hard edges and strong, simple light. The palette is the point: seafoam and pale mint stucco, terracotta and apricot, bone white trim, and matte black for the ironwork, lamp posts and shutters. Sand-coloured paving carries the leaf shadows as flat blue-grey patches. Sky is a clean unbroken cyan. A hanging basket of pink flowers and a low palm break up the row. Depth comes from the perspective of the balconies shrinking toward the waterfront rather than from shading. Typography sits at the top in white capitals: PENSACOLA above FLORIDA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Street level, not a skyline — you are standing on the sidewalk under the oak, looking toward the water.
- Iron lace — the black filigree balconies are the strongest graphic element in the print.
- Gulf colours — mint, apricot and cream, the paint palette of the old town.
- A reason to look twice — the sailboat at the far end tells you the street ends at Pensacola Bay.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Mint and apricot are unusual enough to set the tone for a room. On a warm white or soft sand wall the ironwork reads crisp and the greens stay fresh. The terracotta room in the photographs above picks up the apricot storefront directly. In a black frame it looks sharper; in natural oak it goes softer and more coastal.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The iron balconies are fine work, so give them room — 24" x 36" above a console or sofa. In an entryway or a stairwell, 18" x 24" reads well.
Does it come framed? Paper ships rolled and unframed. Matte canvas is stretched and ready to hang. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
What does the poster say? Two lines of white capitals in the sky: PENSACOLA, and FLORIDA below it. No shop signage or other lettering is legible on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
