This penne pot pesto bowl cut paper poster shows an Italian table from above, with a pot of penne in tomato sauce, a bowl of farfalle in green sauce and a bottle of wine.
About the artwork
The scene is made of flat, angular blocks of tomato red, deep green, moss, pasta cream, purple-gray and mushroom brown on a beige block with a white border. The large pot sits center left, the bowl sits at the lower right and the green wine bottle stands on the right, with small ingredients scattered around them.
Why you'll love it
- Two pasta dishes. Penne with basil leaves fills a green two-handled pot, and farfalle sits in green sauce in a bowl.
- Table details. A red sauce jar with a green lid, a wine bottle with a purple label, a mushroom, a cut vegetable and two olives.
- Crossed fish. Two fish, one yellow and one purple-gray, cross each other at the lower left.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a dining table or next to the stove, where the reds and greens bring out pasta night. It looks good on white or warm plaster walls in a natural wood frame. It also pairs with the matching Italian ingredients print, and suits a trattoria or a pasta bar.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Does it have any text? No. It is a cut-paper illustration only.
What pasta shapes are shown? Penne in the pot and farfalle in the bowl.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
