An Italian kitchen wall art print: a candlelit dinner table drawn in cobalt line on a red check cloth, under hand-lettered type reading PASTA & WINE LOVER CLUB.
About the artwork
The table is drawn from a low angle, the way you would sketch it from your own seat. Cobalt line carries the objects, with solid blue used only for the wine in the glasses, the bottle label and the napkin. Underneath, long vermilion strokes cross into a loose check that stands in for a tablecloth. Four candles burn at four different heights, each in a different holder; a plate holds a napkin folded to a point and tied with a bow; a ribbed tumbler stands beside two stemmed glasses. The lettering wraps the scene rather than sitting above it.
Why you'll love it
- Warm without being sentimental. Candlelight drawn in two hard inks.
- Full of small decisions. No two candlesticks are alike.
- Made for a dining wall. The subject matches the room.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it where the table actually is — above a sideboard, at the end of a dining room, or in the gap between a kitchen and an eating area. The red check reads as warm from across the room and cool up close, so it holds up at larger sizes. Espresso and black frames suit the cobalt; natural oak pulls the red forward instead.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? PASTA & WINE LOVER CLUB, with FRIDAY NIGHT and STARTING AT 7 PM in the lower left.
Is the check a real pattern? It is drawn by hand from long separate strokes, so it never lines up perfectly.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
