A Paris wrought iron balconies poster: a soft gray black and white photograph of a stone apartment corner, with balconies and flower boxes stacked floor after floor.
About the artwork
The corner of the building sits in the middle of the frame, so the two sides of the facade fall away evenly to the left and right. Each floor repeats the same pattern of tall windows, open shutters and curving iron railings, which gives the image a calm rhythm. Trailing plants spill over the railings and soften the strict architecture. Look closely and you will find small carved faces set into the stone between the windows. The light is even and gentle, so the detail reads without harsh shadows.
Why you'll love it
- A quiet piece of Paris. It brings a city mood into a room without a single landmark or tourist cue.
- Soft enough for a bedroom. The gentle gray tones feel restful above a bed or in a reading corner.
- Built for a travel wall. Mix it with other city photographs and the balconies add texture to the set.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it above a bed with linen bedding, or in a hallway lined with plants and woven baskets. A white frame keeps it light and airy, and an espresso frame picks up the dark ironwork. Hang it next to the sidewalk café photographs in this range for a small Paris corner.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any text on it? No, it is a pure architectural photograph with no writing.
Is it very dark? No, the tones are mostly soft grays and whites, with black only in the ironwork and window shadows.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
