A Paris travel poster from a rooftop: two thirds of the image is zinc, chimney pots and cream stone — the Haussmann roofscape running away in every direction — with the Eiffel Tower standing clear of it in the middle distance.
About the artwork
The tower is deliberately not the whole subject. It occupies a narrow vertical column while the roofs take the rest, and that inversion is what separates this from every other Paris print. The zinc is drawn in blue-grey planes, each roof pitched slightly differently so the surface has genuine rhythm, with terracotta chimney pots repeating across it as small warm accents and cream limestone facades showing between. A blue dome sits mid-left as a second landmark. Above, a wide band of pale sky with low cumulus lets the tower silhouette read cleanly. Flat vector illustration, very high detail density in the lower half. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with France beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Not another postcard tower. The roofs are the subject; the tower is where the eye lands.
- Blue-grey and cream. A quiet, almost architectural palette that suits a room where you do not want more colour.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The zinc blue-grey is close to a neutral, so this hangs almost anywhere — white, greige, soft blue, even a dark charcoal wall where the cream facades will carry it. It is a good bedroom print and an even better one for a stairwell or landing, where you pass it at different distances and pick up new roof detail each time. Give it size: at 24" x 36" the chimney pots stay individually readable.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 16" x 24" and up, so the rooftop detail does not compress into texture. 24" x 36" or larger above a sofa or bed.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Why are the roofs blue? Parisian roofs are zinc, which weathers to a blue-grey. The colour in the print is the real thing, not a stylistic choice.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
