A Parga travel poster looking across the bay from the rocks: pink, cream and pale blue houses under red pantiles stacked up a green hillside, a strip of beach at their feet, and the ruined castle walls on the headland to the right.
About the artwork
The foreground is given over to limestone — big pale boulders lying half in the water, drawn with hard faceted planes and rust-coloured stains at the waterline, with surf breaking white around them. Behind them the bay opens out in graded turquoise, deepening to green where the bottom drops away. The town climbs the far shore in tight rows: each house has its own colour and its own roof, washed in coral, apricot, cream and chalky blue, with dark cypress and pine pushing between them. Right of centre the headland rises as a wedge of grey rock with scrub on its flanks and the low broken walls and tower of the old fortress along its crest. A single tall cumulus stands behind it. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Greece beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Rocks in the foreground. The boulders give the water something to break on and the picture real depth.
- Red roofs, not white cubes. A mainland Greek town that looks nothing like the usual island print.
- Turquoise at full strength. The bay carries the colour and the hillside supplies the warmth.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Bright and holiday-warm without tipping into sugary, so it suits a living room, a sunroom or a bedroom that needs some heat. Cream, sand and chalky white walls let the turquoise do its job, and terracotta or olive accents tie it to the roofs and cypresses. Rattan, linen and pale wood suit it; heavy dark furniture does not. Natural oak frames warm the houses, white keeps it crisp. It pairs well with the Corinth Canal print as a Greek pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What is on the headland? The ruined walls and tower of the old Venetian-era castle above the town, drawn as they stand along the crest of the rock.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
