This Palermo flower market wall art print shows a hilltop church with twin bell towers and a golden dome, framed by sun-yellow trees. It is a stylized artistic interpretation inspired by Palermo, not a literal view of the city.
About the artwork
It is a digital watercolor-style illustration with loose, flowing washes and plenty of bare white paper. Yellow, orange and plum red lead the palette, cooled by navy and blue. A church with two bell towers and a golden dome sits with its town in the top third, yellow-orange trees stand on both sides, and yellow flowering shrubs fill the foreground. "FLOWER MARKET" is printed at the top in orange, and "Palermo" is handwritten below in blue.
Why you'll love it
- Mediterranean sun. Yellow and orange washes feel bright and warm.
- Airy and loose. Open white paper keeps the composition light.
- Golden dome. A twin-towered church gives the piece its focal point.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a kitchen, dining room or sunny hallway with white walls, terracotta or navy accents. A warm gift for someone with Sicilian roots or fond memories of Palermo.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Palermo? No. It is a stylized artistic interpretation inspired by Palermo, so it will not match the real place exactly. You see a church with twin bell towers and a golden dome above a town, framed by yellow trees and flowering shrubs, as a dreamlike sunlit scene.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO.050" below the image, and "Palermo" handwritten in script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
