An I am my own muse mirror newspaper poster in black and white: a tabloid-style front page headlined Every Woman Should Be Her Own Muse above a moody photo of an oval hand mirror with handwriting across it.
About the artwork
NEW RESEARCH CONFIRMS sits over the two-line headline, and the photo below is dark and quiet. An oval hand mirror reflects a face, and the words I AM MY OWN MUSE are scrawled across the glass in black handwriting. The handwritten note feels personal, like lipstick on a bathroom mirror, and contrasts with the formal newspaper type above. The dark background lets the mirror glow as the brightest shape on the page. It is one of the most introspective pages in the set.
Why you'll love it
- A self-love mantra. A daily reminder to back yourself, right where you start the day.
- Moody and elegant. The dark photo adds depth among lighter prints.
- Pairs with a vanity. It feels natural near a mirror or dressing table.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a vanity, beside a full-length mirror or in a creative studio. A black frame deepens the moody photo, and a white frame gives it more contrast on a light wall. It pairs with the I don't care glasses front page in this range for a pair about confidence.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the handwriting say? I AM MY OWN MUSE, written right across the mirror glass.
Is the photo dark? Yes, the background is deep and shadowy, so the mirror stands out.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
