This Ocho Rios watercolor print shows Dunn's River Falls tumbling down cream travertine terraces through green jungle, seen from the shallow sea at its foot. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the falls, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The falls are mostly white paper, shaped with fine ink and blue-gray shadows over cream travertine steps. The sea is layered turquoise with white ripples, the forest blooms in many greens, and the left edge and bottom dissolve into blue and yellow with drips at the lower left. Jungle green and turquoise sea lead, with cream stone and white water, plus red heliconia and soft pink accents. Looking up from the water, the tiers of the falls fill the middle, wooden viewing steps climb through palms on the left, and wet rocks and clear water fill the foreground. The green hills of St. Ann rise behind in the lush rainy season under a clear sky. "OCHO RIOS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Human chain climb. A line of climbers follows a guide up the falls.
- Red heliconia. Bright heliconia flowers mark the lower left corner.
- Tiered white water. Many short cascades step down the travertine into pools with swimmers.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Lush greens and turquoise suit a bathroom, a plant-filled living room or a bedroom with natural textures. A memorable gift for a cruise traveler who climbed the falls or a family with Jamaican roots.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Ocho Rios? No. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Dunn's River Falls, painted to capture its feel rather than every rock and step.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "OCHO RIOS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
