About the artwork

Warm grey on pale grey-green, one ink throughout. An upright shrubby spray carries tiny clustered flowers along its stems, drawn in short repeated strokes so the whole plant reads as texture before it resolves into separate blooms. A fern ornament fills the lower-left corner and the 1¢ denomination sits in a circle opposite. The perforated edge is drawn as real die-cut scallops on a plain cream sheet, so the stamp sits on the page as an object. Portrait, 2:3.

Styling it at home

Warm grey on pale grey-green sits almost exactly between warm and cool, which is why it will not fight anything already on the wall — greige plaster, limewash, pale sage paint, brushed steel and concrete all take it. A thin black frame is the sharpest option here, because the low contrast of the sheet benefits from a hard outline; espresso wood also works if the room leans dark. Since the print is soft, give it a spot where you sit close: a home office above the monitor at 12" x 16", or a bathroom or dressing area where an A3 is plenty.
