This Negril watercolor print shows the honeycombed limestone of the West End cliffs above clear turquoise water, with Negril Lighthouse farther along the coast. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the coastline, not an exact view.
About the artwork
The pitted cliffs are built from ink dots and fine lines over layered beige-gray washes. The turquoise water shows dark rock ledges below, with white paper left for ripples, and the edges dissolve into blue, purple and yellow with drips at the lower left and right. Turquoise and sea blue lead, with beige-gray rock and palm green, plus yellow and coral accents from the cliff-top bars and cottages. The cliff with caves fills the left half, topped by a thatched bar, painted cottages and leaning palms; the white lighthouse stands far along the shore, and the open sea spreads to the right. Rough limestone and sea grape fill the foreground on a bright summer day. "NEGRIL" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Cliff jumper mid-air. A tiny jumper hangs in the air between the cliff and the water.
- Ladders and caves. A wooden ladder drops toward a cave mouth, with swimmers below.
- Glass-bottom boat. A boat of visitors and a sailboat float on the open sea.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Its turquoise and sunny yellow liven up a bar corner, a game room or a bright living room. A fun gift for a Jamaica honeymoon or a friend who took the leap at the cliffs.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Negril? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Negril's West End in a watercolor style, and some colors and details are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "NEGRIL," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
