A Mount Fuji wall art print in ink and colour: a small snowy Fuji floats above layers of misty mountains while a pink cherry branch reaches in from the left and petals drift across the sky.
About the artwork
The ranges are painted in soft grey-blue ink that fades into drifting mist, so the peaks seem to rise out of cloud. Fuji sits small at the centre, its snow picked out in white. The cherry branch at the lower left is drawn in fine dark line with pink blossoms, and loose petals float all the way toward the mountains. On the right, the title reads 春山桜景之圖, “a picture of cherry blossom in the spring mountains”, followed by three lines of verse: 霞かかる峰に桜舞い散りて, “on the mist-veiled peaks the cherry petals dance and fall”; 春きはかなき墨のごとくぬ, printed exactly as on the design; and 人の世もまた霞なりけり, “the world of people, too, is only mist”. A red seal sits below. Sumi-e style. Landscape.
Why you'll love it
- Ink and blossom. Grey mist and pink petals in one quiet scene.
- A poem on the page. Three lines about spring and passing time.
- Lots of air. Cream space lets the mountains breathe.
- Built wide. Drawn as a landscape, not a vertical design turned on its side.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Made for a bedroom or a reading corner, above a bed or a low dresser. White or natural frames keep the ink soft.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the poem say? It describes cherry petals falling on misty peaks and compares human life to mist.
Is it a traditional ink painting? It is a new design in the sumi-e manner, printed to order.
Is it landscape? Yes, the mountains stretch across a wide sheet.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
