A Mount Fuji wall art print in woodcut style: a blue, snow-capped Fuji rises under a large red sun, with cherry branches from the left and navy hills below, on cream paper with the words 富士山 and 桜花爛漫 and a red seal.
About the artwork
The picture is built from flat blocks of colour with slightly worn edges, the way a carved woodblock prints. Snow runs down the slopes in streaks like rays, and the sun is brushed on dry so its surface looks textured. Two branches frame the mountain, one still in bud and one in full flower, hinting at the start and peak of spring. The words read “Mount Fuji” and “cherry blossoms in full bloom.” Vintage. Portrait.
Why you'll love it
- A classic Japanese view. Fuji, a red sun and sakura in one bold picture.
- Rich blues. Many shades of blue give depth without clutter.
- Spring mood. Pink blossom brings a fresh, hopeful feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room or a bedroom, above a bench or a dresser. White or natural frames keep the blues fresh. It pairs well with other Mount Fuji prints in a gallery wall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What do the Japanese words mean? 富士山 is Mount Fuji; 桜花爛漫 means cherry blossoms in full bloom.
Is it a real woodblock print? No. It is an archival print of a woodcut-style artwork.
Which size suits a bedroom? 16" x 20" or 18" x 24" works well above a dresser.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
