This Montreal flower market wall art print captures a blazing autumn scene, with fiery trees framing a soft city view. It is a stylized, imaginative artistic interpretation inspired by Montreal, not an exact view of its streets.
About the artwork
It is a digital watercolor-style illustration with bold blooms of color, transparent layers and loose dots. Orange, purple and magenta lead the palette, with fresh green and peach. An orange tree on the left and a purple tree on the right frame a hazy city with a green-domed tower and a Gothic-style facade, while peach flowers fill the foreground on a white, washed ground. "FLOWER MARKET" runs across the top in orange, and "Montreal" is handwritten below in purple.
Why you'll love it
- Autumn color. Fiery orange and violet foliage gives it real seasonal warmth.
- Loose and expressive. Wet washes and splashes keep the whole piece lively.
- Framed view. Two trees open like curtains onto the city in the middle.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a living room, reading corner or entryway, especially with warm wood, rust or plum accents. It is a thoughtful gift for a Montrealer, a former student of the city or anyone who loves fall.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Montreal? No. It is a stylized artistic interpretation inspired by Montreal, so it will not match the real place exactly. You see a soft city with a green-domed tower and a Gothic-style facade, framed by orange and purple trees, with peach flowers in front.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION" and "NO. 010" below the image, and "Montreal" handwritten in script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
