A monte carlo travel poster from high on the headland: a row of white yachts moored side by side in glittering turquoise water, a tight cluster of ochre and coral buildings under terracotta roofs, and grey limestone cliffs falling straight to the sea behind.
About the artwork
The water is what carries this one. It is worked in broken strokes of teal, aquamarine and deep blue with thousands of small white highlights scattered across it, so the whole lower half of the print shimmers rather than sitting flat. Against that the yachts are almost pure white, drawn cleanly enough that you can count them, and their reflections break into soft vertical smears. The town is packed onto a narrow shelf between the water and the rock, with pale apricot, cream and rust facades under saturated orange roof tiles and dark umbrella pines threaded between them. Above it all the cliffs are drawn in cool grey and olive, textured with scrub, and they close the composition off at the top. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with Monaco beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Sparkling water. The scattered highlights give the print an actual sense of light rather than flat colour.
- Yachts, roofs and cliffs stacked. Three distinct textures in one frame, each drawn differently.
- Turquoise and terracotta. The Riviera pairing, and it lifts a neutral room immediately.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Bright and high-contrast, so give it a plain wall and let it be the focal point — over a sofa, a bed head or a stairwell. It suits white, chalk and pale blue-grey walls and sits well with brass, glass and pale wood. White or natural frames keep it airy; black frames make the turquoise read deeper. It hangs naturally beside the Nice, Capri and Marseille prints.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
What is the viewpoint? Looking down over the harbour from the cliffs above, with the town wedged between the rock and the water.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
