A Monets Garden Giverny poster drawn from the near bank of the water garden, with the green footbridge arching across the pond, a curtain of willow hanging in at the left and open lilies in the corner closest to you.
About the artwork
Almost the entire sheet is green, and the interest comes from how many greens are stacked in it. The wall of trees behind the bridge is built from seven or eight flat tones, from near-black in the shadowed centre to pale jade at the top, with two rust-red crowns and one gold one dropped in to stop it going flat. The willow at the left is hundreds of separate hanging strands, each a single tapering stroke. The bridge is a soft eucalyptus green, its railing drawn post by post, its reflection lying broken beneath it. The pond fills the lower two thirds: lily pads as flat ovals in drifting rafts, each with a pale notch of light on one edge, the water going from teal under the open sky to deep bottle-green under the banks. Coral-pink blooms sit in clusters through the middle, then two or three large open flowers hold the bottom right against dark ribbed leaves. Title in wide-tracked uppercase with France beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Green upon green upon green. Eight or more tones in one image, which is why it stays calm rather than flat.
- Pink exactly where it counts. The blooms are the only warm notes and they pull your eye to the front of the pond.
- The bridge sits high. It leaves the water room to be the subject rather than a strip at the bottom.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4–A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
A quiet, cool print for a bedroom, a bathroom or any room that already has plants in it. It settles against sage, off-white, clay and pale grey-green walls, and it is one of the few travel prints that looks better with more foliage nearby rather than less. Rattan, linen and unlacquered brass suit it; natural oak or a plain white frame keeps it soft, while black makes it read as graphic. It pairs naturally with the Valensole lavender print as a French countryside pair.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? Above a console or desk, 12" x 18" or 16" x 24". Above a sofa, bed or mantel, go 24" x 36" or larger so the print holds the wall.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
Is that the bridge from the paintings? It is the green arched footbridge at the end of the water garden, drawn here from the pond itself rather than from the path.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
