A fruit wall art print painted in watercolour: a single deep red cherry with a cobalt bow tied at the base of its stem.
About the artwork
The fruit is worked wet — dark red with fine grain in the pigment and one irregular patch of bare paper left for the highlight, not a neat oval but a shape the water made. The leaf is olive, unevenly washed, with a single pale streak down the middle for the vein. The bow is the only cool thing on the sheet, graded from cobalt into a paler blue along each fold, and its two ribbons hang down across the body of the fruit. The lettering is split by the stem, Mon on the left and Chéri on the right, and carries a halftone dot texture like old newspaper printing.
Why you'll love it
- One cherry, not a bunch. A single fruit, unlike the flat two-cherry version.
- A ribbon in cobalt. Graded blue folds against deep red.
- Halftone lettering. Dot texture, like a line pulled from an old newspaper.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Deep red and cobalt on cream is a richer, older-feeling palette than the flat pink version, so it suits a dining room, a study or a bedroom better than a bright kitchen. Espresso and walnut frames deepen it; white keeps it light.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? Mon on the left of the stem and Chéri on the right, in a halftone script.
How is this different from your other Mon Chéri print? That one is flat vector with two cherries on a pink block; this is watercolour, a single cherry, with a blue bow.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
