A Macon Georgia travel poster built around the city's cherry blossom season. Old trees in full pink bloom crowd the foreground and arch overhead, petals drift across a clear blue sky, and behind them stands a red-brick Italianate mansion with a tall white cupola tower and a columned veranda, set back on a sloping green lawn.
About the artwork
Painted in flat, hard-edged shapes with dense stippled blossom and a fine grain over the lawn. The palette is built on three blocks: soft rose and blush pink for the canopies, a strong mid-blue sky, and warm olive-green grass scattered with fallen petals. The house is drawn in terracotta brick with white trim, arched windows, bracketed cornices and a slim balustraded porch. Bare grey-brown branches cut across the top corners and give the picture its frame. Type is set in white capitals near the top: MACON, with GEORGIA spaced below it. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- Cherry blossom season, not a generic skyline — the thing Macon is actually known for each March, drawn at full bloom.
- One clear subject — the cupola tower sits dead centre and holds the composition together through all that pink.
- Pink that stays warm — blush and rose over olive grass, so it reads soft rather than saccharine.
- Architecture worth looking at — arched windows, brackets and the porch balustrade are all drawn in, rewarding a closer look.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Blush pink and olive green are easy neighbours for cream, oatmeal and warm white walls, and the terracotta brick ties it to clay and rust textiles. It looks settled in the sage-green room in the photographs above, and the carved gold frame over a white bed suits the softness of the blossom. A bedroom or a reading corner gets more from it than a hard-edged office.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The blossom detail rewards scale, so 24" x 36" or 30" x 40" over a bed or sofa. At 12" x 18" the house still reads clearly if you are building a gallery wall.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas comes in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What building is in the picture? It is a nineteenth-century Italianate house in red brick with a white cupola tower and a wraparound veranda, drawn as the anchor of the blossom scene rather than as an architectural study.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
