A Little Rock Arkansas poster taken from the water line. A long pale concrete bridge crosses the whole width of the print on a run of open arches, each one shrinking as it goes, carrying the road from a wooded bluff on the left to the downtown bank on the right. Below it the Arkansas River runs a wide silty tan, and a small outcrop of grey rock breaks the surface in the near corner.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes, hard-edged, with an unusually low horizon so the river takes up more than half the frame. The colour is the point: the water is drawn in warm sand, caramel and clay with long curved current lines, and it sits directly against a flat turquoise sky with no cloud at all. Between them run a band of dark forest green bluff, a strip of bone-coloured bridge concrete, and a small cluster of downtown towers in cyan, slate and charcoal glass. Typography is white at the top: LITTLE ROCK in wide capitals, ARKANSAS spaced beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The arches — a long repeating rhythm across the print, the kind of shape that holds up from across a room.
- A rock in the river — the outcrop at the near bank is a quiet nod to how the city got its name.
- Tan against turquoise — an unusual, genuinely warm palette for a city print.
- Bluff on one side, towers on the other — forest and downtown in a single wide view.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The big field of caramel river makes this one of the warmest prints in the series, so it sits beautifully on terracotta, clay and oatmeal walls — the terracotta sideboard in the photographs above is close to ideal. On white the turquoise sky comes forward instead. Natural oak and walnut frames suit it; black is a harder contrast than this print needs.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The arches are the smallest repeating detail. 12" x 18" or A3 reads fine in a hallway; 24" x 36" or A1 lets the current lines in the water show properly.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? LITTLE ROCK across the top in white capitals, with ARKANSAS in smaller spaced letters below.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
