A Lake Clark National Park watercolor painting: a bright turquoise lake winding into a rocky valley framed by rugged brown slopes and boulders, beneath jagged snow-streaked peaks and big white clouds.
About the artwork
The lake winds from the lower right to the center between slopes on both sides, with peaks and clouds above. Saturated turquoise washes meet granulated rock texture and crisp ink-like lines. Lake Clark includes two active volcanoes, Iliamna and Redoubt.
Why you'll love it
- Glacial turquoise. A color that looks almost too bright to be real.
- Made for tall walls. The portrait format suits the space above a bed, a narrow wall or a stairwell.
- Thirteen sizes. From a small gallery-wall piece up to a 30" x 40" statement print.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a cabin, an office or a bathroom. Turquoise, ochre and cloud white pair with wood and white walls; a natural frame suits it.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 18" x 24" and up above a sofa or bed; 12" x 18" works in a gallery wall of several parks.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Lake Clark prints? This is the watercolor version: a turquoise lake winding into a rocky valley, with no lettering on the image. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, retro, mid-century, panoramic, classical oil, impasto oil, illustrated and landmark Lake Clark prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
