A figure sketch wall art print of a small brown pen-and-ink scene, a few standing figures and a resting animal, set on a khaki mount inside a wide printed white border.
About the artwork
The drawing itself is small, framed by a double ruled line inside a gray-khaki card that sits at the center of the sheet. Two or three dark figures stand close together on the left and middle, built from quick, dense hatching, while in front of them an animal lies curled on the ground. Loose horizontal strokes mark the ground beneath. The khaki card is mottled and lightly scuffed, and the outer border has the look of rough white watercolor paper.
Why you'll love it
- Small scene, big presence. Layers of border make a tiny sketch feel special.
- Old-world charm. Brown ink and khaki feel collected over time.
- Good in groups. Fits a gallery wall of sketches and ink studies.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it on a bookshelf ledge, in a study or in a hallway gallery with other small drawings. A natural or espresso frame complements the khaki; black adds definition. Pair it with the brown wash tower design, which shares the same white border.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any number or writing on it? No. You will find no text, number or signature anywhere on the print.
What animal is it? A small animal lying curled up in front of the figures; the sketch is too loose to name a breed.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
