This italia ciao doodle scalloped frame poster gathers six playful red food sketches inside a wavy polka-dot border, under a big green ITALIA headline on cream.
About the artwork
Everything is drawn with loose, naive brush lines in just two colors. The doodles are bright red, while the frame and the lettering are emerald green. ITALIA runs across the top in large bold serif capitals with a small Ciao beside it, and below sits a scalloped frame with a dotted edge, like a lace doily. Inside are six doodles: a fish, a cluster of five cherry tomatoes, a glass of wine, a farfalle bow, a lemon with a leaf and a bunch of grapes. The cream background runs to the edges.
Why you'll love it
- Six little sketches. Fish, cherry tomatoes, wine, farfalle, lemon and grapes sum up an Italian table in quick strokes.
- Doily-style frame. The wavy green border with dots gives the print a charming, handmade feel.
- Red on green. A simple two-color palette that reads clearly from across the room.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a kitchen, a breakfast nook or above a bar cart, where the red and green can pick up dishes, plants and linens. It sits well on white or cream walls, and a natural wood frame keeps it relaxed. It also works in a café or a small Italian restaurant.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
