A mid century wall art print of three stacked shapes on warm ivory: an upside-down tan arch, a small black circle and a mauve dome.
About the artwork
The upper half is filled by a U-shaped arch made of evenly spaced tan bands, their flat ends lined up along the top edge and their curves nesting down to a small inner loop. Directly below hangs a solid black circle, the smallest and darkest element on the sheet. At the bottom, a mauve half circle sits flat-side down like a dome, just above the lower edge. The bands are crisp and regular, while the dome and circle have a faint mottled finish.
Why you'll love it
- An arch turned upside down. A fresh take on the classic mid century rainbow.
- Soft colour, strong form. Tan and mauve warmed up by one black dot.
- Symmetrical and calm. Everything lines up down the centre.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The centred, stacked layout suits a spot above a nightstand, a narrow console or a desk. It works with walnut, cream textiles and brass. A natural or espresso frame complements the tan bands; black picks up the dot. For a pair, hang it beside the print of a taupe half circle over a black arch.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the arch upside down on purpose? Yes, the bands open toward the top like a U; that is the design.
What colour is the bottom shape? A muted mauve, somewhere between dusty rose and brown.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.

Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
