A nursery quote wall art print lettered "HOW LUCKY ARE WE" in chunky reddish-brown capitals on soft wavy stripes. Available in portrait or landscape.
About the artwork
The capitals "HOW LUCKY ARE WE" are stacked on four lines in the centre. The letters are hand-drawn, round and chunky, in a reddish brown. Behind them, wavy vertical stripes of light blue and cream fill the background, with no other images. It is a minimal digital typographic print.
Portrait or landscape
Choose the orientation that fits your wall. In the landscape version the words sit on two lines, "HOW LUCKY" over "ARE WE".
Why you'll love it
- Says it all. "HOW LUCKY ARE WE" sums up life with a new baby in four words.
- Simple and soft. Just three colours: reddish brown, light blue and cream.
- Two orientations. One design in portrait or landscape, so it works above a crib or a wide dresser.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Portrait: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1. Landscape: 12" x 8" through 54" x 36", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. Portrait 12" x 16" to 30" x 40"; landscape 18" x 12" to 48" x 32".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above the crib, or in a family space where everyone sees it. Light blue bedding or curtains echo the wavy stripes. A rust or reddish-brown accent nearby ties in with the letters.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is the landscape version just the portrait turned sideways? No. It is the same artwork laid out again for a wide frame, so nothing is cut off.
Is there any illustration? No. It is lettering only, on wavy light blue and cream stripes.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
