This Hot Springs National Park watercolor print shows the cream-brick Fordyce Bathhouse, with its arched windows and glass-and-copper marquee, on Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of the street, not an exact view.
About the artwork
Fine ink lines draw the arched windows, tile roofs and marquee, while the cream walls are mostly white paper under thin warm washes. Pink azaleas and white dogwoods are dabbed thickly in the lower left, and the left edge dissolves into pink and green drips with violet and blue splatter. The three-story bathhouse sits left of center, seen from across Central Avenue at a slightly raised angle, with the rest of Bathhouse Row stretching right behind lawns and flowers. The wooded slopes of Hot Springs Mountain, topped by a small tower, and faint ridges fill the background, and a red-brick sidewalk with vintage lamps runs across the front. Azaleas and dogwoods in bloom mark spring. "HOT SPRINGS" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Horse-drawn carriage. A carriage carries visitors along Central Avenue in front of the bathhouses.
- Vintage street lamps. Double-globe lamps and a couple walking their dog line the brick sidewalk.
- Spa-town palette. Cream brick, terracotta roofs and pink azaleas give the print a warm, classic feel.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Cream, terracotta, leaf green and blush pink suit a bathroom, bedroom, entryway or guest room with brass or vintage touches. It is a sweet gift for a couple who took a spa weekend in Hot Springs, or a park-pass collector who loves a historic town.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Hot Springs National Park? No. It is an artistic interpretation of Bathhouse Row; the viewpoint is a little higher than street level, and some background details are simplified.
What text is printed on it? Only the name "HOT SPRINGS," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
