This Hong Kong watercolor print shows the red brick Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower beside Victoria Harbour, with the island skyline, the Bank of China Tower and Victoria Peak across the water. It is an artistic, watercolor-style interpretation of Hong Kong, not an exact view of the city.
About the artwork
The harbor is washed in turquoise with white paper wave lines, and the glass towers are tinted pale blue with fine ink detail. Blue and turquoise water and glass, with the green slopes of the Peak, set the palette, while a red junk sail, the brick clock tower and a green-and-white Star Ferry add accents. The clock tower stands on the left and reaches into the upper part, with the harbor across the center and right and the Bank of China Tower, Two International Finance Centre and other towers along the island shore beneath Victoria Peak. A paved waterfront walkway with railings, street lamps and palms runs through the foreground. Long pink-red drips and multicolor splatters fade the edges into a white paper border under clear skies. "HONG KONG" is set in spaced navy capitals across the top.
Why you'll love it
- Red junk sail. A traditional junk boat with red sails crosses the harbor.
- Star Ferry crossing. A green-and-white Star Ferry carries passengers between the shores.
- Palms by the tower. Palm trees ring the clock tower along the promenade.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Turquoise, blue and red accents suit a modern apartment, an office or a dining room with dark wood. A thoughtful gift for someone who grew up in Hong Kong or an expat heading home.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Hong Kong? No. It is an artistic interpretation of the harbor from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. The skyline is simplified, so most towers are suggested rather than drawn exactly.
What text is printed on it? Only the city name, "HONG KONG," set in spaced navy capitals across the top. There is no other lettering on the print.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
