A Gulf Shores travel poster looking west down the beach from above the dune line. White sand curves away toward a hazy row of buildings on the horizon, three sets of waves break in ranks across the shallows, and a single red and yellow umbrella stands on the rocks in the foreground with a scattered crowd further up the strand.
About the artwork
Flat vector shapes with stippled edges on the foam, arranged so the shoreline sweeps in one long diagonal from the bottom left corner to the top left. The water is graded in clean bands — pale aqua in the shallows, then jade, teal and a deep navy blue offshore — with the surf drawn as interlocking white and ivory shapes. The sand runs from bone white to warm apricot where the wet edge catches sun. Tiny figures and dozens of umbrellas in red, orange, yellow and blue supply all the small colour. The sky is a plain mid blue with no clouds. Text sits at the top in white condensed capitals: GULF SHORES, with ALABAMA beneath. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- A real beach, not an empty one — umbrellas, walkers and swimmers give the print a summer holiday feel.
- Four blues in one frame — the water grades from aqua to navy without a single gradient.
- Sweeping diagonal — the shoreline carries the eye through the whole vertical format.
- Alabama's coast — a Gulf beach that rarely gets a print of its own.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Aqua, navy and warm sand make this an obvious fit for a bedroom or bathroom in white, bone or pale blue, especially with linen and rattan. It looks best on a clean light wall — the white bedroom with the linen canopy in the photographs above is close to ideal. A white or natural oak frame keeps the whole thing airy; black frames make the navy band read heavier than the subject wants.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The umbrellas and figures are small. 16" x 24" reads well beside a bed; 24" x 36" lets you pick out the individual beach umbrellas up the shore.
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. The framed canvas option arrives in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? The printed text reads GULF SHORES across the top with ALABAMA beneath it. Nothing else on the artwork is lettered.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
