A Guadalupe Mountains National Park retro art print: a massive red-orange rock monolith and smaller spires rising above spreading green-teal trees and a shallow wash, with red wildflowers and a yucca along the bottom. Across the bottom, GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS is set in spaced cream capitals, with NATIONAL PARK · TEXAS · EST 1972 in small type beneath.
About the artwork
The monolith rises center right, spires hold the left, and trees fill the lower half. Hatched white cumulus clouds in a deep teal sky give it texture. Guadalupe Mountains protects the highest point in Texas and part of a fossil reef from an ancient Permian sea.
Why you'll love it
- West Texas pride. A strong gift for anyone who loves the Texas outdoors.
- Thirteen sizes. Small enough for a bookshelf, large enough to anchor a bedroom wall.
- Part of a matching set. Every retro park print shares the same painted texture and cream title lockup, so any mix of parks hangs together.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, color-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
It suits a study or a den with a western lean. Terracotta and teal pair with leather, wool blankets and dark wood; an espresso frame suits the rock.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the color, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? 12" x 18" or 16" x 24" for a gallery wall or above a desk; 24" x 36" or larger above a sofa, mantel or bed.
Does it come framed? Paper prints ship unframed and fit standard frames. Choose a framed canvas if you would rather skip the framing shop.
How is this different from your other Guadalupe Mountains prints? This is the painterly retro print: a massive red monolith above green trees, with the park name in spaced cream capitals. The vintage travel poster, WPA, screen print, mid-century, panoramic, oil, watercolor, illustrated and landmark Guadalupe Mountains prints are separate designs.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
