A mid century wall art print of stacked translucent shapes in grey, taupe and peach that together look like a small boat under sail, set on a pale blush-cream ground.
About the artwork
A broad charcoal-grey arch fills most of the lower half, its flat base sitting just above the bottom edge. Balanced on top is a wide taupe bowl, and standing inside the bowl are two upright half-moons, a grey one on the left and a larger peach one on the right, like two sails. The shapes are slightly see-through, so wherever they overlap the colour deepens. A soft grain runs through every block, and the cream background around them is left almost empty.
Why you'll love it
- Balanced and calm. A simple stack of shapes that feels steady on the wall.
- Soft, modern colour. Grey and peach sit well with both cool and warm rooms.
- Reads as a picture. Abstract shapes that still suggest a little sailboat.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Grey and peach suit a living room with a grey sofa, a nursery-neutral bedroom or a home office with light oak furniture. Keep the frame simple: white or natural keep the shapes light, while black brings out the charcoal arch. It pairs well with other stacked-shape prints in the same muted palette.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Are the shapes transparent? They are printed as slightly see-through, so the overlaps show a deeper tone; the paper surface is flat.
Is there any text? No, only shapes on a cream ground.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
