A figure sketch wall art print of several women's heads in profile, drawn in soft gray pencil on ivory paper, each bob sweeping back in long arcs like hair in the wind.
About the artwork
Five heads step down the sheet in a loose zigzag, all facing right, with a sixth barely begun tucked behind the top one. The faces are simplified, with closed or lowered eyes, a straight nose and small parted lips, while the hair is a few fast curves that trail off toward the left edge. The lowest head has its fringe filled in with dark hatching, the heaviest mark on the page. Faint erased lines ghost between the figures, and the top left corner and lower left strip are left bare.
Why you'll love it
- Movement in a few lines. Hair that seems to blow across the page.
- Soft and quiet. Gray pencil on ivory suits calm rooms.
- Great in a set. Pairs with the other figure sketches in the range.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it above a dresser, a vanity or a bed with white linens. Thin black or natural oak frames suit the pencil; white frames let it melt into a pale wall. Pair it with the ink sketch of a seated woman for a gentle set of two.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is there any writing or number on it? No. There is no text, number or signature, only the pencil heads.
How many faces are there? Five clear profiles, plus one lightly started behind the top head.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
