This Italian kitchen wall art print stands a fork wound with spaghetti upright beneath a handwritten "girls dinner", in wine red on a pink panel.
About the artwork
The fork is rendered in a single-colour, woodcut-style engraving in wine red over pink. That engraved drawing is paired with a thin, handwritten script. Pink fills the central panel, the lines are wine red and a cream ivory border frames it all. The script runs across the top and spills past the edges of the pink panel, while the fork stands in the middle with its handle running down to the bottom of the print.
Why you'll love it
- A strand that got away. The four-tined fork holds a neat twirl of spaghetti, with one strand slipping out to the left.
- It breaks the frame. The fork handle runs past the bottom edge of the pink panel, and the script crosses its top edge, so the piece feels loose and lively.
- A dinner mood, not a recipe. Two words and one fork say everything about a cosy night in.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Lovely in a small apartment kitchen, above a two-seat dining table or in a pasta bar. The pink and wine red suit cream walls and brass; a thin gold frame adds a little evening glamour.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? "girls dinner", in a thin handwritten script.
Does it go with other prints? It shares the pink panel and cream border of our Partners in Wine and Cocktail Club prints.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
