A Ginnie Springs Florida poster looking straight down a spring run toward open water. Two heavy hardwood trunks frame the view like columns, undercut limestone banks drop into the river on both sides, and the water shifts from pale aquamarine in the shallows to deep blue-green in the channel. A small wooden dock sits on the right bank, red-orange leaves catch the light beside it, and a tall cumulus cloud rises over the treeline.
About the artwork
Rich, painterly illustration with dense linework in the bark and foliage rather than flat vector shapes. The palette is built on layered greens — olive, moss, near-black canopy — against turquoise and teal water, with warm ochre and grey limestone on the banks and a small hit of rust-orange in the shrubs at right for contrast. Ripples on the surface are drawn as fine horizontal bands, and the shallow bottom is visible as mottled sand and stone. Typography sits low in white sans-serif capitals: GINNIE SPRINGS above a letter-spaced FLORIDA. Portrait, 2:3.
Why you'll love it
- The colour springs are known for — clear turquoise water over pale limestone, not generic beach blue.
- Framed by trees — the trunks on either side pull the eye down the run and give the print real depth.
- A different Florida — inland river country rather than palms and coastline, so it stands apart on a wall of travel prints.
- Cool and green — a calming palette that suits bedrooms and bathrooms as easily as a living room.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Nine sizes from 8" x 12" to 30" x 40", plus A4-A1 for European frames.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang.
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural.
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The deep greens and turquoise sit best against soft white, pale sage or warm sand walls, where the water colour reads brightest. A natural oak frame echoes the tree trunks; a black frame sharpens the whole thing up if the room already leans dark. It looks at home in the plant-heavy living room and the curtained window corner shown in the photographs above, and works beside linen, rattan and unglazed stoneware.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What size should I get? The foliage and water detail hold up small, so 12" x 18" works on a gallery wall or beside a door. For a sofa or bed wall, step up to 24" x 36" or 30" x 40".
Does it come framed? Paper and matte canvas ship unframed. Framed canvas ships in a solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural, ready to hang.
What does the poster say? Two lines in white capitals along the bottom edge: GINNIE SPRINGS and FLORIDA.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
