This Genoa flower market wall art print looks over a harbor of pastel houses, a domed church and a red ship, with white and orange flowers below. It's a stylized, imaginative take on Genoa, an artistic interpretation inspired by the city rather than a literal view.
About the artwork
A digital watercolor-style illustration with an opaque, gouache-like finish and flat color fields. Blue-toned trees line the left side, while a bay, pastel houses climbing a hill and a domed church sit to the upper right. White and orange blooms with blue-and-white sprays fill the lower half under a flat cream sky. "FLOWER MARKET" is set in steel blue, with "Genoa" handwritten in red-orange.
Why you'll love it
- Seaside Italy feel. A harbor town and a red ship bring a Riviera mood.
- Crisp contrast. Cool blues against warm orange make the colors pop.
- Pastel charm. Soft pink and yellow houses add a gentle, sunny note.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Hang it in a dining room, kitchen or bathroom with navy, white and terracotta. A great gift for anyone with Ligurian roots or a love of coastal Italy.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
Is this an exact view of Genoa? No. It's an artistic interpretation: a harbor, pastel houses and a domed church arranged into a dreamlike coastal scene, not an exact view.
What text is printed on it? "FLOWER MARKET" across the top, "CITIES & FLOWERS COLLECTION", "NO.095" and "Genoa" in handwritten script.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.
Paper weight, inks, frame details and care are all in our Material Guide.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick 200 gsm archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
