A seafood wall art print: three opened oysters stepped down the sheet in detailed black ink, under flavors for royalty in red brush type.
About the artwork
The shells are the work here. Each rim is built from several overlapping wavy lines that stack into ridges, the way a natural history illustration would render them, and the flesh inside is a mix of solid black and dense short hatching. The three are arranged in a zig-zag from upper right down to lower left, and no two lie in the same direction — each is turned its own way, which keeps the group from reading as a pattern. A cobalt oval label overlaps the rim of the second shell. The lower line of type runs across the bottom oyster rather than clearing it.
Why you'll love it
- Natural history detail. Shell ridges drawn line by line.
- Three angles, no repeats. Nothing in the group is parallel.
- Seafood without the nautical clichés. No rope, no anchors.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
The shell detail needs size to survive, so choose 18 x 24 or larger and hang it where people pass close. A dining room, a coastal-leaning kitchen or a bar corner all suit it. It pairs with the Wine Club oyster print, which treats the same subject far more loosely. Black frames match the ink.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.

Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.

- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
