A stacked serif fashion poster in black and white: the word FASHION broken into FA, SHI and ON in huge black type on a plain white ground.
About the artwork
Each syllable gets its own row, and the letters run right up to the edges of the sheet. The type is a high-contrast serif with hairline strokes beside very thick stems, which gives the page a sharp, magazine-cover feel. Breaking the word after FA and SHI makes you pause and then read it whole. The white space is only what is left between the letters, so the design feels tight and confident. Nothing else competes with the type.
Why you'll love it
- Instant editorial style. A single word in oversized type gives a wall the look of a fashion cover.
- Works from far away. The thick stems stay strong even in a long hallway or a big living room.
- A neutral that suits any palette. Black on white slots into warm, cool or fully monochrome rooms.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Place it in a dressing area, a walk-in closet or above a bedroom dresser with a small mirror nearby. A black frame sharpens the letter edges, and a natural wood frame warms the contrast. Hang it beside the reversed dark version for a bold pair, or use one on its own as a statement.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does the print say? The word is set in three rows, FA, SHI and ON, and reads as one word.
Is the background pure white? Yes, a flat white with no texture, and the black type is printed solid.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Damage, defects & care
Every piece is printed for you after you order, so we cannot take a print back for a change of mind — please check the size and material first. Our Size Guide shows every size drawn to scale.
If it arrives damaged, misprinted or simply wrong, email us within 14 days with photos of the piece and the packaging. We reprint and reship it free, and there is nothing to send back.
Keep artwork out of direct sunlight. Wipe framed canvas with a dry, soft cloth. Handle paper prints by the edges until they are framed.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
