A cocktail wall art print cut like a plate from an old bartender's manual: one martini in green engraving, with the request set vertically up the left edge.
About the artwork
Everything is hatching. The direction of the strokes turns to follow the curve of each olive and the bowl of the glass, and the foam on the drink is built from several hundred small circles rather than a wash. There is no solid colour anywhere on the sheet. The glass takes up almost the full height, with the bowl in the upper third and the stem running straight down to the bottom edge. Three olives sit on a pick with a coiled end, and the pick pushes out past the right edge of the sheet. The lowest olive is fully submerged and reads through the foam.
Why you'll love it
- Pure engraving. Tone made only from hatched line — no flat colour at all.
- Foam drawn as circles. Hundreds of small rings instead of a wash.
- The text turns. Set vertically, reading bottom to top up the left edge.
- Made to order. Printed after you buy, colour-managed, never warehoused.
Sizes and materials
- Paper — archival matte, rolled and unframed. Thirteen sizes in all: 8" x 12" through 30" x 40", plus A4–A1.
- Matte canvas — stretched on a wooden bar, no glare, ready to hang. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Framed canvas — solid wood floating frame in white, black, espresso or natural. 12" x 16" to 30" x 40".
- Pigment-based archival inks, rated to resist fading for decades indoors.
Styling it at home
Forest green on cream is the most restrained cocktail print in the collection, which makes it the one that suits a study, a hallway or a dark-panelled room as readily as a bar. Hang it with the engraved bird and plate prints, which share the technique. Walnut and black frames both work.
Shipping and care
Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Keep prints out of direct sunlight to protect the colour, and dust canvas with a dry, soft cloth.
Questions people ask
What does it say? “EXTRA DIRTY PLEASE!”, rotated and reading bottom to top up the left side.
How many olives are there? Three, on a pick with a coiled end that runs off the right edge.
Print & materials
Every design is made to order on one of three materials:
- Fine art paper — thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks. The choice if you already own a frame.
- Matte canvas — gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box. No glass, no glare.
- Framed canvas in white, black, espresso or natural wood — a slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted. Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms; white and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
Sizes run from 8 x 12 inches up to large statement pieces, plus A4, A3, A2 and A1 for standard European frames. The exact sizes available for this design are listed in the Size menu above.

Materials
Three ways to print it.
Same artwork, same colour-managed printing — the material decides how it hangs and how much wall it holds.
Fine art paper
Thick archival gallery-grade paper with a smooth matte finish, printed with fade-resistant pigment inks.
- The most affordable option, and the one to pick if you already own a frame.
- Reads slightly softer than canvas.
- Ships rolled in a rigid tube.
Matte canvas
Gallery-wrapped over a solid wood stretcher, ready to hang straight out of the box.
- No glass, so no glare — good for bright rooms.
- Holds a touch more contrast than paper.
- Boxed with corner guards.
Framed canvas
A slim solid-wood floating frame with the hanging hardware already fitted, in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
- Natural and espresso suit warm, timber-heavy rooms.
- White and black sit better in minimalist and monochrome spaces.
- The usual choice for a feature wall — nothing to assemble.
